PROTX provide us with our primary secure payment gateway for credit and debit card transactions. We use their VSP Server solution. Unlike the majority of online payment service providers who receive transaction details through hidden fields sent via the a customer's browser (which could be tampered with or spoofed), VSP Server talks directly to our web server over a 128-bit encrypted secure channel, exchanging digitally signed messages to register the transaction and notify us directly of the authorisation results. No sensitive information is sent via our customer's browsers, and because our customer's are redirected to Protx, no card details need to be taken or stored on our site. We welcome payments throug PayPal as an alternative on-line payment method. PayPal enables any business or consumer with an email address to securely, conveniently, and cost-effectively send and receive payments online. PayPals network builds on the existing financial infrastructure of bank accounts and credit cards to create a global, real-time payment solution.
